Story behind the piece: just down the street from me in American Fork, Utah, there is a darling sheep farm I drive by often. One January morning I was delighted to see all the sheep out eating breakfast. Most charming of all were the three little lambs, frolicking and playing together with their moms close by. This sketch is a moment of that sweet playtime.
The frame came from an antique store in Oregon. I attached the leaf inlays to add more stability and character to the frame.
